OPTION A: ARRIVAL IN ASHGABAT
Arrive at Ashgabat International Airport, where you will receive a warm traditional welcome from our local representative. Proceed with a private transfer to your hotel for check-in. OPTION B: ARRIVAL AT BOARDER
Enter Turkmenistan via the Uzbek border at Shavat. Meet your local guide and drive a short distance (approximately 15 km) to the city of Dashoguz. Check in at your hotel and unwind after the border crossing. Overnight hotel in Dashoguz.
DAY 2: DESERT ADVENTURE AND THE ENIGMATIC DARVAZA GAS CRATER
After breakfast, begin your journey into the heart of the Karakum Desert for an unforgettable experience. Drive toward Darvaza — Home of the blazing Darvaza Gas Crater, also known as the Door to Hell, a massive natural gas pit that has burned continuously since the 1970s. On arrival, experience the nomadic spirit of Turkmenistan, as you settle into yurt or tent accommodation under the vast desert sky. As the sun sets, gather for a traditional BBQ dinner around the fire, followed by stargazing and desert silence. Overnight in a Yurt or Private Tent (a basic yet memorable desert experience).
DAY 3: ASHGABAT — CITY OF WHITE MARBLE WONDERS
Start your day with a desert-style picnic breakfast, then travel to Ashgabat (approximately 276 km — 4 to 5 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take time to freshen up. In the afternoon, begin a panoramic city tour of Ashgabat, renowned as the city of white marble wonders. Visit remarkable sites including the Wedding Palace — Yildyz Hotel, Ferris Wheel, Constitution Monument, Arch of Neutrality, Independence Park, Ertogrul Gazy Mosque, Ashgabat Olympic Stadium and Halk Hakydasy Memorial Complex, which commemorates those lost during war and natural disasters. DAY 4: HERITAGE AND HORSES — PRIDE OF TURKMENISTAN
After breakfast, dive into Turkmenistan’s rich cultural legacy. Begin at the Turkmen Carpet Museum, showcasing intricate handmade carpets from tribes such as Tekke — Yamud and Chodor and view the World’s Largest Handwoven Carpet, recognized by the Guinness World Records. Then, visit a prestigious Akhalteke Horse Farm, where you can admire the golden Akhalteke horses, national treasures believed to bring luck and vitality. In the afternoon, explore Gulistan Bazaar (also known as Russian Bazaar). DAY 5: DEPARTURE
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Then transfer to Ashgabat International Airport for your departure flight. Ending your journey through the heart of Central Asia with rich memories of desert adventures, white marble cities and timeless traditions.

Choose to fly to Dashoguz or Turkmenabat (approximately USD 110 per person) to continue your journey to Uzbekistan. From Dashoguz, proceed to Khiva. From Turkmenabat, head to Bukhara for further Silk Road exploration.
